Record notice

An arrest, booking or custody observation is not evidence of guilt or a conviction. Information can be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. The originating public agency remains the authoritative source. Source links and retrieval context should remain attached to each record.

The public site is designed to exclude home addresses and juvenile records and will not initially publish mugshots.

Corrections and updates

Correction requests will be checked against the originating public source. Supported requests include identity mismatches, duplicate records, inaccurate normalization, sealed or expunged matters, and records that the source agency has corrected or removed. A request does not guarantee removal, but every supported request should receive a documented review.

Before launch, the site must publish a working correction-request method and response target.

Privacy

The service should collect only operational data needed for security, analytics, subscriptions and submitted requests. It should not sell personal contact information or create advertising audiences from the identities appearing in public records. Analytics and email vendors must be listed here before activation.

Terms of use

Users must independently verify records with the originating agency. The service may not be used to harass, threaten, discriminate, determine eligibility for employment, housing, credit or insurance, or unlawfully solicit people identified in public records. Automated access is prohibited except through an authorized API agreement.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Some pages may eventually contain clearly labeled advertisements or affiliate links. If a visitor purchases through an affiliate link, the site may earn a commission at no additional cost to the visitor. Compensation does not change the underlying public record or correction process.
